When and where does the guild meet?
Our guild meetings are typically on the third Tuesday of each month at the DeWitt Community Room (414 E Main St, DeWitt) at 7 pm
Do I have to join or pay dues before coming to a meeting?
No, you do not have to join the guild to come to the meetings. We encourage people to come and audit as many sessions as they would like prior to officially joining the guild.
What does an average meeting look like?
While it may vary to some degree depending on the month, generally we have a schedule that includes
an introduction with upcoming events, information, and a few other shopkeeping items,
a main presentation, a brief break, members’ show-and-tell projects, and a raffle.
How do I join the Mid-Michigan Woodworkers Guild?
Joining is simple. Our annual dues are currently $25. We ask a few contact questions. You pay and answer. You are in. Simply email info@mmwg.org to get started if you are already interested
I have many years (or no years) of woodworking experience. Will this benefit me?
Quick answer? Yes. We have all skill levels from just beginning to skilled craftsman. We have hobbyists, professionals, school-aged, retired, and all those between. We aim to create an environment where anyone can learn and share respectfully.
