How much does it cost to join?
Dues are $25 per year and can be paid at the meeting or by mailing your membership application and check to Terry Kirk, 504 East Geneva, Dewitt, MI 48820.
When do you meet?
We meet the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Dewitt Memorial Building, 206 West Washington Street, Dewitt, MI 48820. There is no meeting in July or August.
Are there any skills required to join?
There are no skills required to join, just an interest in woodworking.
What are your meetings like?
The general format of our meetings include a short business meeting followed by our presentation for the night. After the presentation there is time for fellowship, show and tell and our raffle. Time permitting we have a Q&A where members can ask the audience for guidance on a particular woodworking problem they have encountered.
What resources does the guild have?
The Guild’s greatest resource are its members. Our member’s experience ranges from beginners to seasoned professionals. All are willing to share their vast knowledge. We have furniture makers, cabinet makers, bowl turners, pen turners, toy makers, and everything in between. We also have a library stocked with how to books and videos as well as plans. Everything in the library is available for check out to our members.
