About

Mid-Michigan Woodworkers Guild – Who are we?

We are a local group of woodworkers who meet once per month for fellowship, sharing of ideas and projects, and to participate in a presentation of relevant woodworking topics. Many of our presenters are professionals in their field. Skill is not a prerequisite to join. We have woodworkers of all skill levels from beginners to seasoned professionals. There is a wide variety of interest some of which includes general furniture construction, bowl turning, pen turning, scroll saw work, hand tools, toys, carving and finishing. If you are a beginner this is a great way to get started, if you already have some skills it is a great way to improve those skills as well as learn some new ones.

When are the meetings?

We meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Dewitt Memorial Building, 206 West Washington Street, Dewitt, MI  48820. There are no meetings in July and August. Guests are always welcome.

How much does it cost to join?

Dues are just $25 per year. You can join at any meeting or you can fill out the Membership Application, enclose your check made out to Mid-Michigan Woodworkers Guild and mail to: Terry Kirk, 504 East Geneva, Dewitt, MI 48820.
